Smartphone Detox2/27/2016 It's frightening, but recent research in the UK by psychologists has come to the following conclusion: adults use smartphones twice as much as they cherish. If you think you check your smartphone 30 or 50 times a day, multiply by 2. That same survey found that adults use their smartphones on average for 5 hours a day, or 1/3 of the total time they stay awake at day.
